We are seeking a registered nurse for a Mother-Baby Unit specializing in Women and Children's services, with a focus on obstetric and neonatal care. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth, and involves frequent use of nursing skills and equipment related to obstetric and neonatal care.
Responsibilities include:- performing patient assessments
- developing and implementing individualized care plans
- monitoring fetal and maternal well-being
- administering medications
- supporting breastfeeding
- educating families
- coordinate with healthcare team
- ensure patient and staff safety
- document care accurately
- provide emotional support
- active RN license
- Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Nursing
- certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- strong communication
- teamwork
- evidence-based practice
- ability to work in a shared governance culture
