American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an IL RN license and multiple emergency-focused certifications.

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Flexible/rotating weekend and holiday shifts
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active Illinois state RN license in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
• TNCC, TNS, or TCRN certification required
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment, including assessment, care planning, and intervention
• Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to develop and modify individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of nursing care
• Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and reporting hazards
• Offer constructive feedback to peers to support professional development
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning
