American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an IL RN license and multiple emergency-focused certifications.
Details- Emergency Department setting within a hospital
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Flexible/rotating weekend and holiday shifts
- Uses Epic charting system
- Active Illinois state RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
- TNCC, TNS, or TCRN certification required
- Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment, including assessment, care planning, and intervention
- Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to develop and modify individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of nursing care
- Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and reporting hazards
- Offer constructive feedback to peers to support professional development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than 1 year without a 6-month break in service before returning
