Job Summary

This position is an integral part of our dining operations staff. Led by experienced culinary professionals, we offer staff the opportunity to work in newly-renovated facilities and are committed to using quality ingredients and processes. These positions play an integral role by utilizing the individual's food service talents to support a variety of different food service operations. Duties may include cashiering, maintaining the dining room, washing dishes, serving meals to customers, and assisting in food production and sanitation.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$15.25 per hour

Required Qualifications

Availability to work a variety of shifts and days off, up to 28 hours per week.

Must be able to follow instructions and take work seriously.

Display a positive attitude at all times.

Must be able to provide friendly and inclusive customer service to all guests of the University.

Work in a cooperative manner.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Applicants must be currently legally authorized to work for Illinois State University in the United States.

Work Hours

Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Functional Expectations

Remain at a workstation for extended periods.

Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.

Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
