This position manages and operates the greenhouse facilities in the School of Biological Sciences. The individual provides expertise in plant biology and horticulture to faculty, students, and visitors in support of teaching and research.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate$17.03 - $20.00 per hour
Required QualificationsA. Coursework in horticultural, agriculture, botany, or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
-30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
-Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
-90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
B. Work experience in greenhouse crop production or research greenhouses; and related gardens.
Typical work hours are 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary dependent upon course needs and events.
