Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with visitor processing and/or credential checks as directed.
• Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local staff, and/or emergency personnel when needed, while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
