As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Normal, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production‑adjacent spaces, and/or perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and vehicle processing in accordance with site policies and client expectations.
• Communicate with site leadership, Allied Universal personnel, and/or local responders during routine operations and critical situations, while preparing accurate logs, reports, and shift activity records.

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
