- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or operations location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, entry points, warehouses, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated posts, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing visitors and/or deliveries to appropriate locations.
- Support site operations by maintaining visible presence, communicating professionally with staff and guests, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security‑related activities.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
