Security Officer Driving Role in Normal, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an unarmed officer in a patrol-focused, driving post. In this role, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. • Sat 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking lots, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor employee, visitor, and/or vendor movement at designated access points, helping to support badge checks, visitor processing, and other security-related post duties.
• Communicate with supervisors, local responders, and/or site contacts regarding incidents, operational issues, and changing conditions that may affect daily site operations.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
