Assists students and parents/family members with problem resolution and identifying barriers to and resources for student success. Serves as ombudsperson for students and parents/family members, connecting to resources, explaining processes, and providing advice. Advocates for students and student issues regarding university policies and practices. Conducts interventions with students to direct to appropriate resources. Consults with faculty and staff on how to best manage concerning student behaviors.
Liaisons with on and off campus resources to provide service linkages for students. Responds to student, parent/family, faculty/staff, and community inquiries by phone, email, and in-person.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate$50.00 per hour
Required Qualifications- 1. Master’s degree
- 2. Minimum of ten years of experience in student affairs/services at a college/university
- 3. Experience working with parents and family members of college students
- 4. Experience mediating conflicts and addressing concerns from students and their parents/family members
- 5. Ability to work in a high-demand environment, work cooperatively in a team setting, multi-task and self-initiate work independently
- 6. Ability to interpret policy and implement documented procedures accurately
- 7. Excellent written, oral, administrative, and organizational skills; demonstrated experience in creating productive work relationships with peers as well as students
- 8. Highly dependable and displays a professional manner, is student-service oriented, and able to work with diverse constituencies in an equitable manner
