• Design and Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable, and secure full‑stack applications for Rivian Volkswagen Technologies' connected services.
• API Development:
  Contribute to the design and development of RESTful APIs that adhere to industry best practices and meet the needs of various consumers (mobile apps, third‑party developers).
• Collaboration:
  
  Work effectively with a cross‑functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Problem Solving:
  Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Code Quality:
  Write clean, well‑documented, and testable code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality standards.
• Innovation:
  Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and trends in full‑stack development and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
• Mentorship:
  Guide and mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Communication:
  Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Experience:
  
  7+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on full‑stack development.
• Frontend:
  Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), HTML, CSS, and responsive design. Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex) and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Backend:
  Strong knowledge of at least one backend language (Golang, Node.js, Python) and experience building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and No
  
  SQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Data Processing:
  
  Experience with stream processing and a fundamental knowledge of data processing methods, including familiarity with message queue technologies (e.g., Kafka, NATS, Rabbit
  
  MQ).
• Dev Ops:
  Experience with CI/CD pipeline and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Agile:
  Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with industrial protocols (OPC UA, Ethernet
  
  IP, Modbus, MQTT).
• Experience working in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

Salary Range for Palo Alto, California Based Applicants: $146,900 – $183,600 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Irvine, California Based Applicants: $135,000 – $168,900 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Normal, Illinois Based Applicants: $123,400 – $154,200 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
