Zoning Research Specialist (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Thursday Onsite, Friday Remote | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Location: Norman, OK 73072
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Zoning Research Specialist to support ongoing zoning and municipal research projects. This role is responsible for conducting zoning research, tracking project progress, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with municipalities and internal team members to ensure project requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct zoning research and obtain current zoning information from municipalities.
- Review and pull applicable zoning code sections and ordinances.
- Request required documents and information from municipal agencies.
- Follow up on outstanding requests and clarify information as needed.
- Maintain project logs, databases, records, and files.
- Track project status and provide updates to team members.
- Prepare check requests and assist with project-related documentation.
- Coordinate activities with internal teams to support project completion.
- Ensure all research and documentation are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an advanced administrative, research, or project coordination role.
- Strong organizational and project tracking skills.
- Experience conducting research and gathering information from external sources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent work experience.
- Previous zoning, municipal, land use, real estate, permitting, or related research experience.
