Pay Range
Targeted salary of $10.00/hour, based on experience.

Work ScheduleFlexible, up to 20 hours per week between 8am-5pm M-F.

Position IntroductionThe department of Chemistry/Biochemistry is looking to hire a student office assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of our main office.
Responsibilities- Answering telephones
- Greeting visitors
- Filing
- Scanning
- Light typing
- Data entry
- Setting up for events
- Distributing interoffice mail
- Other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Prefer a start date of June 1 but will consider a Fall start date.
- Prefer strong teamwork, organization, and time management skills.
- This will be a carryover position starting in Summer and continuing through Fall/Spring as long as the student is enrolled in the current semester.
Position is not contingent upon a background check.
