Contracts Assistant

What We Do

First American is looking to add a Contracts Assistant to our team working in Norman, OK. In this role, you will work with land surveys of commercial properties from our vendor. This will include property research and location, review, and communication with land surveyors.

• Conduct property research for the determination and location of commercial property.
• Extract and enter this information in appropriate data onto the application, other form, or database.
• Review client requirements to determine a proposed survey scope.
• Analyze and interpret this information to meet client needs.
• Communicate by phone and email with land surveyors.
• Strong organizational skills and a multi-tasking ability.

• PC skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office, mostly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Phone and communication skills, both internal and external.
• Internet search abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, and tenacity for solving problems.
• Self-disciplined and motivated, desire to accomplish.
• Sound judgment on decision making with ability to ask questions when necessary.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team in a high paced office environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
