Zoning Research Specialist

The Zoning Research Specialist is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include:
- Manage and oversee zoning-related projects from initiation through completion.
- Process, track, and follow up on zoning requests and project-related inquiries.
- Conduct zoning research, including obtaining current zoning information, applicable code sections, and supporting documentation from municipalities and government agencies.
- Coordinate project activities and communicate updates with team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, databases, logs, and related documentation.
- Prepare check requests and support administrative project requirements.
- Follow up on outstanding requests and verify information as needed.
- Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, established processes, and quality standards.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- Associate degree (AA) preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Software applications.
- Strong organizational and coordinating skills.
- Oral communication skills sufficient to gather information.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an advanced administrative function or related role.
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
