Position Introduction:

To forward this mission to provide the best possible education experience, the Office of Student Conduct is looking for someone to serve as the Office Manager. The Office Manager reports to the Assistant Dean of Students & Director of Student Conduct. This position will serve as the operational leader for the Office of Student Conduct and is responsible for coordinating office operations, the case management system (Maxient), workflow administration, and customer service functions. This position ensures the efficient movement of student conduct cases from intake through closure while supporting case managers, maintaining data integrity, coordinating office communications, and promoting an exceptional student experience.

As the first point of contact for many students, faculty, staff, and families, this position contributes significantly to creating a welcoming, responsive, and student-centered environment while supporting the Office's commitment to accountability, equity, and student success.

What you will do
:

  • Case Intake & Workflow Administration
    :
    Receive and review incoming incident reports; enter and maintain cases within Maxient software; coordinate case assignments with departmental leadership, track pending actions and deadlines.
  • Office Operations & Administrative Management
    :
    Coordinate office operations; supervise reception, customer service functions, and email/phone communication; coordinate meeting logistics; order supplies and equipment; assist with budget tracking and purchasing process; maintain confidential records.
  • Student & Campus Partner Support
    :
    Respond to inquiries from campus community and student supporters; direct students to appropriate campus resources; coordinate communication with campus partners; assist students in navigating appointments and required documentation; support accessibility and customer service initiatives.
  • Data Management, Assessment & Reporting
    :
    Assist with parental notifications; record checks from Open Records Office; sanction completion data; assist with annual assessment reporting.
  • Educational Intervention & Behavioral Development
    :
    Facilitate educational opportunities that promote learning and reduce repeat misconduct among student(s) and registered student organization(s); develop individualized educational outcomes; facilitate restorative conversations and educational meetings; promote accountability through reflective learning and encourage development; support organizational culture change initiatives; evaluate educational effectives.
  • Sanction Monitoring & Assessment
    :
    Monitor resolution pathways with sanction completion and contribute to continues improve efforts; maintain accurate assessment data; identify trends in student behavior; assist with institutional reporting; support annual office assessment initiatives.
  • Professional Service & Special Projects
    :
    Support departmental initiatives and professional development; serve on university committees; assist with staff training; participate in policy review; present educational workshops; contribute to strategic initiatives.
