Student Life Program Operations Coordinator Lead

Pay Range:Targeted salary $60,000 annually, based on experience

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m. with occasional nights and weekends (and longer and irregular hours during fraternity and sorority recruitment season).

Travel:May be required

The Office of Student Life guides students in realizing academic, professional, and personal goals as they progress toward graduation and beyond by helping students get involved and connect on campus through the various groups advised by the office.

In this position, you will:

• Report directly to the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student Life and provide high level coordination and response to the office of Student Life, administrative responsibilities in Student Life, and coordination of programs and budget of the office.
• Review, edit, and interpret student policy.
• Coordinate staff development programs; act as a liaison to various functional units in Student Life.
• Handle high pressure and sensitive conversations with students and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate and compile the annual report.
• Helps with community-wide initiatives and coordinates special projects for the Office of Student Life.
• Be responsible for assisting the director in day-to-day activities of the office.

You will also be responsible for managing the operations for the office.

• This includes supervising student and full-time employees, onboarding and training, staff development, and assisting all Student Life staff members with support (IT, HR, Risk Management, etc.).

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 36 months in student programming, student services or closely related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution
:
Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 84 months experience.
