Summary:

The Quality Operations Intern will help design and improve AI assistants for Quality Operations, simplify technical documents using AI tools, annotate and prepare data for model training, and test AI prototypes to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. The role focuses on applying AI to streamline quality processes and drive continuous improvement.

• Support AI Assistant Design:
  Collaborate with the Quality Operations team to identify key requirements and workflows for AI assistants tailored to site‑specific quality processes.
• AI‑Driven Document Simplification:
  Utilize AI tools and techniques to analyze quality documents including contamination control strategy, identifying areas for simplification and helping to ensure content is clear, concise, and compliant.
• Data Preparation & Annotation:
  Prepare and annotate data sets, including document samples and process descriptions, to train and test AI models for accurate understanding and response.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
  Assist in testing AI assistant prototypes, providing feedback on usability, accuracy, and effectiveness in supporting contamination control and other quality operation processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Participate in team brainstorming sessions, suggesting enhancements and new features for AI assistants based on user feedback and observed process bottlenecks.

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technical Communication, or Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• Introductory experience or coursework in AI/machine learning, data annotation, or process automation.
• Familiarity with quality operations or regulated environments (e.g., GMP, FDA guidelines).
• Strong skills in technical writing, document analysis, or process mapping.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AI/data tools.
