Levy with University of Oklahoma Athletics is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of Operations for Performance Dining. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the student‑athlete experience by overseeing all athletic dining operations, training table, and fueling stations. The Director will partner closely with sports dietitians, athletics administration, and operations staff to deliver high‑quality nutrition programs that support athlete health, recovery, and peak performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all athletic dining operations and functions for student‑athletes, including training table and fueling stations.
- Collaborate with sports dietitians and performance staff to ensure menus and fueling options align with performance nutrition goals.
- Oversee food quality, safety, compliance, and service standards across all operations.
- Recruit, train, and develop dining services staff to ensure a culture of excellence and service.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to provide cost‑effective, high‑quality training tables, fueling solutions and dining hall.
- Serve as the primary liaison between athletics, dining services, and campus partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Service, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of leadership experience in collegiate athletics, performance nutrition, or large‑scale banquet or catering operations.
- Strong knowledge of performance nutrition and athlete fueling strategies.
- Strong understanding of allergen safety protocols and cross‑contamination prevention
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Serv Safe certification.
- Food Handlers License (or willingness to achieve) in the State of Oklahoma
