Our client in OK is actively seeking a proficient Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 30-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Sep 1, 2026. The role requires a physician to provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM, focusing on a diverse range of cardiac and thoracic cases such as CABGs, valve procedures, and complex lung surgeries within a trauma facility.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Provide 24-hour out-of-house call with rounding.
- Manage both Cardiac and Thoracic cases.
- Perform procedures including CABGs, valves, VATs, wedge resections, lobectomies, pneumothorax, drains, and some aortic work.
- Work within a trauma facility;
Cardiothoracic Surgeons are rarely called in on traumas.
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
