Job Description
Student Membership Attendant (SPRING 2026). Fitness and Recreation strives to help all student employees develop their career readiness upon graduation. This position is for Spring 2026 employment. Training will begin immediately upon hire and could begin as early as January 2026.
Membership Attendants provide customer service to the members of the Sarkeys Fitness Center. They will run register for sales and membership, adhering to all proper payment handling processes. Membership Attendants provide program and service information, both in person and on the telephone. They will enforce facility policies, assist with data entry, respond during emergency situations, and clean and maintain the center.

Must be currently enrolled in the Spring semester as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
Required Skills- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must have good customer service skills
- Must have computer and data entry skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Selected applicants will be required to become CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Training will be provided by the hiring department.
- Frequent standing, moving, reaching, and stooping
- May work with chemicals
