Job Objective:
The Adjunct Group Fitness Instructor will teach group fitness classes as part of the MNTC Wellness Program, serving participants with a wide range of fitness levels and abilities. This role provides safe, effective, and inclusive exercise instruction while fostering a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages participation, confidence, and lifelong wellness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Credentials:
Applicants must hold a current, nationally recognized group fitness or personal training certification, such as ACE, NETA, ACSM, NASM, or Yoga Alliance RYT 200 or higher.

Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience teaching group fitness classes required.

Additional Information

* Classes taught will be based on the instructor's certification, training, and experience.

* Instructors will assist with light cleaning and care of the Wellness Center and fitness equipment.

* Responsibilities may include participation in campus wellness events such as the annual health fair and assisting with personal training or health education programming based on qualifications and program needs.

Work schedule varies based on class availability. All class are 30 - 45 minutes long. Current slots to be filled:

* Tuesday/Thursday 6:00am, 7:00 am

* Wednesday 7:00am

* Monday/Wednesday 12:00pm

* Thursday 4:30pm
