Adjunct Instructor, Leisure Learning Continuing Education ) – PTT
The Continuing Education Division Leisure Learning program is continuously seeking part‑time instructors to teach non‑credit community educational offerings in leisure learning. Opportunities vary widely. If you have a self‑designed curriculum you would like to propose for the division, please complete the application. Class selection is made on a term‑by‑term basis.
Instructors are not permitted to sell products or services in their class.
The Leisure Learning program seeks qualified instructors to provide affordable, varied, and outstanding non‑credit lifelong learning opportunities to Lincoln/Lancaster County residents.
Adjunct instructors provide local residents with positive educational experiences, teach valuable new skills, and provide community involvement.
Proposals will be considered for additional review based on factors including but not limited to community demand, relevance to SCC Continuing Education objectives, existing courses, and the course potential for cost recovery. Application and class proposals do not guarantee acceptance.
Essential Functions- Teaching experience with a passion and expertise for the instructional topic.
- Ability to write class descriptions and course outlines.
- Ability to use basic computer and email skills.
- Be able to demonstrate your craft.

Part‑time temporary employees are eligible to participate in the TIAA retirement plan through a Roth, SRA, or 457(B) account, with no match provided by the College.
This is a part‑time temporary position with assignments based on program needs.
