Minimum requirements for substitute teachers and paraprofessionals:

• 18+ years of age for elementary
• 21+ years of age for middle school and high school
• High school diploma or GED

Pay rates:

• Substitute teacher (HS diploma/GED): $85/day
• Substitute teacher (Bachelor's degree): $100/day
• Substitute teacher (certified): $100/day
• Substitute paraprofessional: $11/hour

Responsibilities and job descriptions:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
