Minimum requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 for Elementary
• Must be at least 21 for Middle School and High School

Pay rates:
Substitute Paraprofessional: $11.00/hour

Paraprofessional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
• Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
