CAD Technician- Transportation Design

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and revise technical drawings for transportation, municipal, and/or land/site development projects
• Assist in design, quantity calculations, and completing plan sheets
• Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages
• Work under the direction of a PE & Project Manager

• Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school
• 2- 5 years of experience in Municipal / Transportation engineering or related field is preferred, but not required
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GEOPAK, and/or Micro Station/Open Roads
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• Ability to work in the posted locations
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
• This role will be based in either Norman or Oklahoma City, OK.
