Product Data Management Specialist Job Norman area,Oklahoma USA,Engineering

Position: Product Data Management Specialist 1

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

This is an entry-level role: 1-2 years of experience preferred, but some training will be provided to get up to speed on company systems.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with activities to gather and document product requirements related to certification, configuration, data, and engineering processes.

Supporting plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory, and company requirements, and maintaining configuration control.

Gathering data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data, configuration, and contractual requirements; assisting with audits and reviews.

Providing assistance for certification plans, process architectures, product structures, and data management processes.

Working under supervision.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Assisting the Configuration Management (CM) Lead in developing, documenting, and implementing plans and processes to meet requirements and maintain control.

Supporting management to achieve performance, schedule, operational efficiency, logistics, and readiness goals at the lowest lifecycle cost.

Administering CM disciplines across affected organizations.

Publishing, implementing, and administering CM procedures.

Ensuring configuration records are prepared and updated to meet PWS requirements.

Requirements

Required Skill Sets:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Access and Excel
Computer savviness and ability to work efficiently with computers

Preferred Skill Set:

Data management
Scanning and uploading documents, CDs, etc.

Education/

Experience:

Typically acquired through an associate degree or equivalent, such as two years of related work experience.
