- Assist in the design and coordination of roadway projects for government agencies such as City, County and ODOT
- Design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates, developing design specifications, alignment and profile design, and plan preparation
- Attend client meetings and take meeting minutes
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
- 1-4 years of experience in Transportation engineering or related field is preferred
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a condition of employment and must be achieved at the time of hire or within six (6) months of the start date to maintain employment
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and preferably Micro Station
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
- Transportation Engineering Internship experience preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Ability to work in the posted location
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment., occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
