Project Civil Engineer
The Project Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects including sitework, utilities, and roadway systems. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The position involves project lifecycle management, design review, field supervision, and coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Manage the full project lifecycle including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
Review and audit engineering plans using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
Prepare cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and project reports.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Supervise field construction activities and inspect work for quality and accuracy.
Identify and resolve technical and field-related issues.
Develop and maintain site plans, permits, and project documentation.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in estimating, planning, and project management.
Ability to prepare and present technical reports and research findings.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
Knowledge of civil engineering principles related to sitework, utilities, and roadway systems.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
