Position Introduction:This is a Federal Work Study position at The Sooner Theatre (STON) in Norman, OK. General Theatre technician duties including: scenic painting, lighting, set construction, and prop work. Preparations for the live theatrical events including concerts and musical.

- Ability to learn new software

- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
- A proactive self starter with the ability to work independently
Education:
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Fall 2026 class schedule.
- Must attach a Resume.
- Must have received and accepted a work study award for the FALL semester.

Department Preferences:- Knowledge of theatre
- Basic understanding of the duties involved in technical theatre
