We are currently looking for aFull Time Events Staff Supervisor to join our Events Staff team located at Riverwind Casino.

Summary Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate -- files, logs, records, reports, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
  • Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
  • Maintains knowledge of, follows, and enforces all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Prepares weekly reports
  • Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
  • Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
  • Participates in candidate selection process
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
  • Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
  • Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
  • Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
  • Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
  • Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
  • May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
  • Trains staff to interact with internal and external customers, patrons and vendors in the most positive methods possible
  • Ensures all staff employees exhibit excellent customer service
  • Ensures adequate levels of staffing
  • Participates in job candidate interviewing and selection process
  • Schedules staff based on worker availability and arrange for contingency staff based on business needs and/or guest satisfaction standards on designated shift and redirects the labor force according to changing activity during a shift
  • Oversees job functions, development and job performance, including but not limited to, annual evaluations, employee development and performance management
  • Assigns daily tasks to staff team
  • Quickly and effectively solves problems and resolves all complaints as appropriate
  • Provides marketing team with ticket sales reports
  • Communicate and coordinate aspects of Showroom events with tour managers, fan clubs, promoters, production managers, Security, MR Vault and Operations Managers to ensure a successful event takes place
  • Execute the entertainment riders for performers, this includes but is not limited to catering, transportation, lodging, equipment set-up, and meet and greets between entertainers and event attendees
  • Works with current ticketing system to build upcoming events in accordance with the outlines listed in the artists marketing/ticketing letter. Once an event is built, communicates all assets listed in the marketing/ticketing letters to the correct artist marketing team
  • Communicates with current ticketing system representatives on any website needs for event builds and errors with the system as they arise
  • Work closely with the all departments supporting the execution of concerts, special events and venues held onsite and offsite
  • Directs events staff in the appropriate manner to provide necessary support for a successful event
  • Oversees the distribution of concert communication (calendars, flyers, discounts, etc.) to facility employees through e-mails, employee bulletin boards and event cards to maximize employee’s knowledge of facility events
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
