Caregiver

Provide hands‑on care and physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home‑like environment.

Position Highlights
  • Status: FULL TIME / PART TIME / PRN
  • Location: Norman, Oklahoma
  • Rate of Pay: DOE
What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for a designated group of residents during your shift; ensure awareness of whereabouts and conduct frequent checks.
  • Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
  • Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
  • Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well‑being.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
  • Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
  • Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
  • Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership.
  • Compassionate, resident‑focused approach with superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Sound judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
