Physical Therapy Assistant

Implement and coordinate treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Maintain and update clinic logs to ensure proper record-keeping and adherence to regulations.

Manage the ordering and inventory of physical therapy supplies, ensuring timely availability of necessary materials.

Treat patients with various orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to cervical pain, lumbago, sprains/strains, postoperative conditions (arthroscopy, total joint replacement, fractures).

Provide care for patients with neurological and vestibular disorders under the direction of the evaluating clinician.

Apply manual techniques and soft tissue mobilization as part of therapeutic interventions.

Progress exercise regimens according to individual patient needs and responses to treatment.

Ensure compliance with MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) and Workers' Compensation regulations, ensuring proper documentation and procedures are followed.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
