As a Senior Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, with a focus on individuals with dementia.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Caregiver to join our team in Norman, OK. As a Senior Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a part-time opportunity that offers the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors while also balancing your personal schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one care and support to clients with dementia, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
  • Assist with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with feeding and hydration
  • Encourage socialization and engagement through activities and conversations
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure comprehensive care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a dementia care setting
  • Ability to lift, bend, and transfer clients as needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
