Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $51.30-$65.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours per week
Shift times: Variable shifts, primarily M-F, approximately 9am - 5pm. Some evenings and Saturdays are expected.
Location: Des Moines, IA, Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, and Sioux Falls, SD
Job type: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Float/Travel: Regular travel between Des Moines, IA, Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, and Sioux Falls, SD as needed based on training needs

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Training and Development Manager, the Training and Development Specialist
- Clinician is responsible for analyzing, developing, delivering and evaluating organizational training for Advanced Practice Clinicians/Health Center Providers. The Training and Development Specialist
- Clinician will also provide clinical services, including reproductive health care, to patients at PPNCS clinic(s). The Training and Development Specialist – Clinicians are advocates in implementing our mission of “Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all.” They may perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse/APN in Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska with National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women's Health Care, Adult or Family Practice NP OR current state license as a Physician's Assistant in Iowa, Minnesota, or Nebraska
  • Any additional requirements for practice/prescriptive authority in Iowa, MN or Nebraska, including an active DEA license in the state of current licensure and practice
  • Any additional requirements to be credentialed by third party payers, e. master's degree.
  • Two years’ experience working in a family planning
  • Two years’ experience inserting/removal IUCs and
