Psychiatric Prescriber — First Responder & Veteran Mental Health

Inner Circle Mental Health is seeking a psychiatric prescribing professional with a meaningful connection to first responders and veterans.

Our practice supports first responders, veterans, healthcare professionals, and their families. We’re expanding to offer medication management alongside therapy and are looking for someone who builds trust, understands these communities, and values collaborative care.

This is a part-time, independent contractor opportunity beginning with one day per week, with Mondays and Fridays preferred. Additional availability can be discussed as the service grows.

You’ll provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care in our Norman office while collaborating with therapists to support shared clients. Appointment lengths will reflect clinical needs, with brief follow-ups when appropriate and longer visits for evaluations and complex concerns.

We welcome psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and physician assistants with psychiatric experience. Other prescribing professionals may be considered based on their training, credentials, and scope of practice.

A strong connection to first responders or veterans is especially valued - through personal service, family experience, or meaningful clinical work.

Candidates must have:

• Active Oklahoma licensure and appropriate prescribing authority before beginning patient care.
• Relevant psychiatric assessment and medication-management experience.
• Any required supervision arrangements and prescribing registrations.
• Professional liability coverage and eligibility for insurance credentialing.
• Reliable documentation, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.
• An agreed process for refills, medication questions, monitoring, and coverage between clinic days.

• Simple Practice access with e-prescribing.
• Referral opportunities from our established therapy practice.
• Collaboration with clinicians serving first responders and veterans.
• Input into the development of our medication-management service.

Provider compensation ranges from 60%-80% of collected professional service revenue
, depending on qualifications, agreed responsibilities, and practice support.

Payment is based on revenue actually received. Contractors maintain their own required licenses, registrations, professional liability coverage, and applicable supervision arrangements. Specific responsibilities and compensation terms will be outlined in the contractor agreement.
