Allied Travel Careers is working with IMCS Group to find a qualified Surg Tech in Norman, Oklahoma, 73019!
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery. Sterilize equipment and make sure that there are adequate supplies for surgery.
• Ready patients for surgery, such as by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies.
• Most surgical techs are employed in hospitals, and most every hospital has surgeons who perform procedures with their help.
• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure
• Must have
* BLS, NBSTSA, required.
• Days: 8 hr shift – 40 hrs/week
• Must have completed a Surgical Technology program or must have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
