- reviewing medical records for completeness and accuracy and referring incomplete or inaccurate reports to appropriate staff for correction.
- preparing statistical, case, and other types of reports.
- preparing materials and forms and gathering all pertinent information and data for admissions and discharges.
- ensuring all data is properly coded.
annual salary is $34,500, or $16.59/hour
working hoursprimary working hours are monday-friday 8am-5pm. Flsa status: non-exempt.

special requirementsapplicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.
qualifications- eligibility for accreditation with the american health information management association as a registered health information technician (rhit); or
- two years of experience working with patient records in a medical setting such as a hospital, state institution, medical clinic or a physician’s office.
upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
coverage and hoursthis agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
