HR Director ​/ HR Manager

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization in the Norman area to identify an experienced Human Resources Director. This is an opportunity for a strategic HR leader to partner with executive leadership, shape organizational culture, drive HR initiatives, and oversee the overall human resources function. The HR Director will provide leadership and direction for all HR operations while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support organizational goals and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

+ Provide strategic leadership for the Human Resources function

+ Partner with executive leadership on organizational planning and workforce strategy

+ Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations

+ Direct compensation, benefits, and payroll functions

+ Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices

+ Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and retention initiatives

+ Oversee employee training and leadership development programs

+ Manage HR budgets, reporting, and departmental planning

+ Guide investigations, corrective action processes, and risk mitigation efforts

+ Serve as a resource and advisor to managers on complex employee matters

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

+ 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience

+ Previous experience leading HR initiatives and advising senior leadership

+ Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, compensation, and benefits

+ Demonstrated leadership and team development experience

+ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar certification preferred
