Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to keep our community running smoothly. You’ll lead a small maintenance team, oversee repairs, manage work orders, and ensure apartments and common areas are always in top shape. If you enjoy problem-solving, mentoring a team, and keeping things in order, this role is for you.
What You’ll DoLead and train maintenance staff to ensure coverage and efficiency.
Schedule and complete work orders promptly, responding to resident requests within 24 hours.
Inspect apartments, common areas, and grounds to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning community.
Oversee make-ready preparations, move-ins, and move-outs.
Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and maintain proper logs.
Provide on-call support as needed and help the team handle emergency situations.
Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning to stay ahead of property needs.
2-3 years hands-on maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
HVAC certification required.
Ability to work weekends, overtime, and climb ladders or lift heavy objects as needed.
Basic computer skills for work order management and reporting.
Must have your own tools.
Education & Experience
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience maintaining mechanical systems and performing repairs.
Lead a small, skilled team in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on role with plenty of variety and problem-solving.
