The Director of Post Anesthesia Care Unit will oversee a dynamic team within Perioperative Services, also known as Surgical Services, housed in Brand-new surgical facilities, Award-winning employer environments designed for efficiency, safety, and exceptional patient experiences. These state-of-the-art surgical suites support high-acuity cases and cutting-edge procedures, offering exposure to advanced anesthesia recovery protocols and enhanced recovery pathways. The Director of Post Anesthesia Care Unit will play a key role in optimizing patient flow across the surgical continuum, leveraging modern equipment, upgraded recovery bays, and thoughtfully designed clinical spaces that reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to growth and excellence.

Reporting to executive perioperative leadership, the Director of Post Anesthesia Care Unit will provide strategic and operational oversight for PACU nursing and clinical support teams. Responsibilities include staffing optimization, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory readiness, budget management, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability. The Director of Post Anesthesia Care Unit will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, CRNAs, perioperative nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals who are known for their collegial spirit and clinical expertise.
