Assistant Planning Director

The Assistant Planning Director serves as the Director's principal advisor and assumes leadership responsibilities in the Director's absence. This leadership position will assist in directing one of Oklahoma's most active municipal planning departments and play a key role in implementing the City's Comprehensive Plan, managing development review activities, improving development processes, and permitting, enforcing code compliance, and leading departmental initiatives.

This position provides strategic oversight of planning operations, supervises professional and administrative staff, coordinates major development projects, and represents the department before City Council, Planning Commission, developers, neighborhood organizations, and other public agencies.
