Maintenance Technician

Leaf Forge is a cutting-edge tobacco processing facility based in Pryor, Oklahoma. With construction completed in 2024, this facility spans 250,000 square feet and is adjacent to its parent company, Xcaliber International. This state-of-the-art processing facility employs advanced manufacturing and processing technologies to transform raw tobacco into the finished product used in cigarette production. The Maintenance Technician I has a very versatile skillset that requires the ability to cover multiple responsibilities. This position will work around and on rotating equipment and facilities with high pressure to perform routine maintenance. This is an entry-level position which will receive additional on the job training. This position requires significant attention to detail, accuracy in results, follow-through, and timely documentation.

• Maintain and repair multiple production machines.
• Routinely clean and wash equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues with production equipment.
• Change small valves and threaded piping.
• Maintain plants and facility locations/roads.
• Maintain backhoes and trailers as needed.
• Maintain and clean crew tools.
• Do all required computer work and reports.
• Work safely and productively.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required with short notice.

Required:

• Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in mechanical operations of manufacturing equipment.
• Goal driven/forward thinking.
• Ability to learn and retain task knowledge.
• A steady work history and strong work ethic.

Preferred:

• Competency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

• Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work is performed in a tobacco primary manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to high temperatures, loud noises and industrial equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
