- You will set up and operate CNC machines to produce various turbine products, adhering to work instructions and quality standards.
- Load materials into machines, ensuring a safe and efficient set‑up for the assigned load.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CMM readouts to perform diverse machining operations effectively.
- Adjust machine settings, including tool offsets, speed, and cut path, to guarantee component conformity.
- Examine production output to verify specifications, conduct regular inspections, and maintain operational excellence.
- You have a recognized Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering or a related field.
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Production Engineering is essential.
- Proficiency in CNC machining, reading engineering drawings, and CMM operation and readouts.
- Strong skills in precision measurement and gauging, along with knowledge of CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol).
- A commitment to safety awareness, problem‑solving, and a continuous improvement mindset.
