Production Supervisor (4th shift Friday - Sunday, 5:00PM-5:00AM)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Norman, Oklahoma. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in our production facility.
Your tasks include:
- Leading and managing a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Monitoring production processes and quality control measures to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications
- Analyzing production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize production flow and resolve issues
- Training and mentoring team members on best practices and new production techniques
- Managing inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to maintain adequate materials for production
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on production performance, quality, and efficiency to upper management
Your profile should include:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to work 4th shift Friday-Sunday, hours are 5:00PM-5:00AM
- Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams
- Proficiency in production management software and quality control systems
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in manufacturing settings
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and production data
- Six Sigma certification is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
