Role Overview
The UMC Cancer Center has a Clinic and Infusion Center that provides care to adult and pediatric patients with non‑cancerous, hematology and/or oncology conditions.
As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will assess, implement or delegate, plan, and evaluate total nursing care for a group of patients, and provide and direct patient care following established philosophy. You will relate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal continuity of care.
ScheduleFull‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Must maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- BSN required, or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
- Completion of ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy within 90 days.
