Licensed Practical Nurse – PM Shift Agency, 452 Mental Health and Substance Abuse Serv. Supervisory Organization GMH – Leadership.

About the Position

We are currently looking for talented Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Adult Inpatient Nursing department. Position is assigned responsibilities for providing direct or indirect professional nursing services in a variety of settings. This includes providing nursing assessments, planning, interventions, evaluations, health related education, case management, and execution of the medical regime including administering medications and treatments prescribed by any person authorized to prescribe by state law.

Responsibilities
  • Providing technical direct and indirect nursing care in a hospital under the supervision or direction of a registered nurse or licensed physician.
  • Offering health care to patients experiencing severe emotional disorder(s)/psychiatric illness or substance abuse.
  • Performing crisis intervention and working collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, and other nurses.
  • Preparing medication and distributing it on the unit.
Job Type and Salary

Full-time, 12‑hour rotating schedule (6:30pm – 7:00am). Annual salary $50,500.00‑$60,000.00 plus holiday, shift differential and benefits. FLSA status:
Non‑Exempt.

Qualifications
  • LPN III:
    Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing plus two years of practical nursing experience; or Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) plus two years of practical nursing experience.
  • LPN II:
    Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and one year of practical nursing experience; or Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) plus one year of practical nursing experience.
  • LPN I:
    Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing; or Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Possesses a strong commitment to patient well‑being and safety and believes that recovery is possible!
Special Requirements
  • Conditional offer of employment requires a physical examination, including occasionally lifting/carrying 50pounds and pushing/pulling a maximum of 25pounds.
  • Willing and able to fulfill any job‑related travel normally associated with this position and possess a valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements
