Position: 2026 First Aid Station Medical Team

About the First Aid Station Medical Team

We are looking for a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), RN (Registered Nurse), NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant), MD (Doctor), and GP (General Physician) to care for injured/ill people in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. The First Aid Station Medical Team will serve based on each individual's personal availability.

We understand that many of our First Aid Station Medical Team members work full-time positions within the medical field outside of the First Aid Station.
This is not a full summer commitment.

Our First Aid Station Medical Team professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing different basic care needs to those who require it, while remaining patient, calm, and kind.

Medical Team Responsibilities
  • Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
  • Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, etc., clean and dress wounds, and help with other basic medical care tasks.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
  • Communicate with the patient’s church leaders, sponsors, and family to give advice, comfort, and release instructions.
  • Respond to First Aid/CPR/AED calls on the grounds.
Medical Team Requirements
  • Proven experience as LPN, RN, PA, NP, MD, or similar role.
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
  • Great physical condition and stamina to withstand long hours on duty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress.
  • Successful completion of LPN, RN, PA, NP, and MD license program is a must.
