LPN - Wound Care Center - PRN

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
• Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
• Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
• Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
• Documents nursing care and activities.
• Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
• Assists with the training of other staff.
• Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.

• Prefer at least 1-2 years experience in a clinical or physician‑office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.

• Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.

• $21.15-$34.55/hr depending on previous work experience.
• $2.50/hr PRN differential
