Position Title
Experienced RN
- Registered Nurse
- Procedural Outpatient Radiation Therapy
This position may be filled as an RN Level 1, 2, or 3 depending on experience, education, and qualifications. The role is based at the Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City.
Work Schedule- Monday‑Friday; 8am‑5pm or 4‑10hour shifts (shift hours may vary with patient scheduling)
- Assume responsibility for assigned patients or patient groups.
- Document patient responses, monitoring changes in physician orders.
- Assist physician in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed, including intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care safely and competently, resolving complaints promptly.
- Inform patients and families of procedures and share care plans.
- Refer patients to appropriate personnel when needed.
- Maintain professional certification/licensure.
- Develop a professional career plan with measurable goals.
- Delegate tasks to support staff and perform duties as assigned.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 0–3 years experience as an RN.
- Current Registered Nurse License from the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification upon hire.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 3–5 years experience as an RN.
- Current Registered Nurse License from Oklahoma or a multistate compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- Specialty certification(s) preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required;
Master's preferred. - 5+ years experience as an RN.
- Current Registered Nurse License from Oklahoma or a multistate compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- Specialty certification(s) preferred.
- Knowledge of basic professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Maintain civility and good working relationships with patients and staff.
- Respond effectively to cultural and language needs.
- Skill in computer applications for quality and safety measures.
- Advocate for patients and maintain trust.
- Engage in conflict resolution constructively.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
- Foster an inclusive workplace.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Sign‑on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified candidates.
