About the PositionChildren's Recovery Center is looking for compassionate nurses to help teenagers recover from mental health and substance addiction difficulties. Our registered nurses, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, conduct physical assessments, implement residents' treatment plans, evaluate response to treatment, provide complete documentation, perform physical restraint assessments, administer medications as prescribed, and provide health care education to residents and families.
The registered nurse supervises the daily duties of the Mental Health Techs and LPNs, ensuring that all residents are kept safe. Duties are performed in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, as well as the facility's and ODMHSAS's mission, values, policies, and professional standards.
- Full-time (12‑hour shifts)
- Night Shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
- Registered Nurse I Salary: $70,000 ($33.65/hr)
- Registered Nurse II Salary: $72,500 ($34.86/hr)
- Registered Nurse III Salary: $76,500 ($36.78/hr)
- FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt - Contracts available $50–$55/hr
- Work may require weekends and overtime
- 24‑hour coverage, 7 days per week required
- Registered Nurse I:
Associate in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or an RN license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). - Registered Nurse II:
Bachelor’s in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or an RN license recognized by eNLC; OR Associate in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; OR Associate in Nursing and two years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing. - Registered Nurse III:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and possession of a valid, permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; OR Associate Degree in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience; OR Associate Degree in Nursing and three years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing. - Unrestricted Oklahoma RN licensure.
